Defakto Transit 100
Being limited to 25 pieces, the Defakto Transit 100 (40 mm x 44 mm x 9,8 mm, 58 g) was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our family driven Ickler GmbH Watch Manufactory. The watch has won the German Design Award 2020. It is the most complex manufacture created by Defakto yet.
It offers unique modern aesthetics combined with high quality components such as a new in-house made 3-piece watchcase with brushed surface, a dlc coated anthrazit top ring, a konvex sapphire crystal and a Swiss made automatic movement. To mark the special anniversary, there are various engravings on the case back: ‘100 years of Ickler’ and the consecutive number ‘Edition 0X/25’, with ‘1924 - 2024’ on the rotor. In the elaborate design process, great importance was placed on night readability. The curved hands, as well as all the indices of the black matte dial, have been covered in Switzerland with Superluminova (bgw9 and red).
The newly developed 40mm stainless steel case (316L) has a height of just 9.8mm including the domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The durable automatic Swiss movement Sellita Sw 200 /optional hand wound SW 215, conveys the time with high accuracy, as an option you can opt-in for a hand wound movement too. It can be observed through the engraved sapphire crystal case back. The watch is fitted with a special high-quality strap made in Germany - the top is made of cowhide tanned in France and the back is made of natural rubber. The strap also has a quick-change system. The Transit can be built for right- or lefthanders on demand. The movement will come regulated.
